Away fans are located in the south east corner of the Shed End lower tier.  The view is quite good as there are no supporting pillars within the stadium and the leg room is also sufficient.

From Upton Park it takes about an hour by tube or 45 minutes to an hour by car.

It is not recommended to drive in, but if you aren’t local and have to drive, you need to leave the M25 at Junction 15 and turn off onto the M4 towards London.  Follow the M4 which becomes the A4 up to Hammersmith.  Go over the Hammersmith flyover and continue for 1.5 miles, before turning off for Earls Court.  Pass Earls Court station until you reach the junction with Fulham Road.  Turn right at the traffic lights and after about half a mile, you will see the ground on your right.

Parking near to the ground is virtually impossible but take a look here – you can book parking, but it is pretty pricey.

The nearest tube station is Fulham Broadway on the District Line.  If changing at Earls Court Station take a Wimbledon-bound tube.  There are two Overground stations nearby, West Brompton and Imperial Wharf, it is then about a 15-minute walk from the stadium.  These are both on a direct line between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.

Plan your journey here –

If you arrive early at Stamford Bridge, it is worth taking advantage of their ‘Early Arrival Offers’.  It only applies for the first 30 minutes of the gates opening, so you have to be quick.

  • Pint of Singha beer, pie or hot dog for only £2.50

  • Soft* or hot drink for only £1.00

There are so many places to eat/drink before the match, but he best option is to stop for a drink on your journey there.  There are lots of pubs around Earl’s Court, however The Courtfield Tavern is popular with away supporters and is about a 20 minute walk away from the ground or you can jump on the tube.  There are a few other pubs around the same area including The Prince of Teck and The Blackbird.

If you aren’t one of the 3000 fans going to Stamford Bridge, make sure you add ‘thewesthamway’ on Snapchat and keep an eye on @WestHamWaycouk on Twitter for live updates throughout the game.

I’m gutted that I can’t make this match, but I hope all the travelling fans have another enjoyable away day and we get the three points!
