Following the success of Phil Parkes, Frank McAvennie, Stuart Slater, Alvin Martin, Steve Lomas, John Moncur and now Keith Robson in our previous events we are delighted to announce that former Hammer of the Year Matthew Etherington as our next guest.  Matty was an exciting players and featured in the 2005 Play Off final win and the 2006 FA Cup Final for us and and has plenty of tales both on and off the pitch to tell.  Matthew is a great friend of the site and has written columns for us and featured on our radio show and each time provides a fascinating insight.

Here is one of his most famous goals for the club:

The event will take place on the 22nd April at the East Ham working man’s club from 11am-2pm. We are offering this event at a bargain £25 and this event is guaranteed to sell out.

We have received nothing but positive feedback from all of our events. Here is what supports said at the John Moncur event:

We have secured a number of top prizes for the raffle too, including Stoke City Away tickets, which would be worth attending for alone. Our beautiful Hammerettes Bekka and Daisy will be selling these raffle tickets during the event, as well as discounted (loyalty) tickets for our next events.  Prizes include: Two tickets to Stoke away, £50 club voucher and signed memorabilia.  Sammy McNess will be selling tickets to his big fight at the event as well.  We will also have a memorabilia stand and a chance for you to pick up your copy of Long Live the Boleyn Book.

We have free lager (Carling and Carlsberg), free bitter (Tetley and Toby) and free cider (Strongbow) with other alcoholic drinks available to buy at great prices. Soft drinks are also free. Coaches to the London Stadium are also included and drop you much closer to the ground than you can get when travelling by train.

The West Ham family feel and atmosphere is something that is no replicated in soulless Stratford. If you have not attended an event before we think you will be pleasantly surprised and keep coming back. Give it a try!! If you do not believe us just look at this spontaneous bubbles that erupted at our last event. https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/831243898865459201
