Following the success of last years events where some of our guests included: Phil Parkes, Frank McAvennie, Stuart Slater, Alvin Martin, Steve Lomas, John Moncur, Keith Robson, Matthew Etherington and Martin Allen, we are delighted to announce our first one of the new season.
For those of you who have attended the events before you will know that former “Boy of 86” Mark Ward hosts our evenst and often has a lot to say within the small time we give him to talk about himself and not the guest. We thought this time lets give him his own show and let him have the freedom of the mic. Having got to know Wardy very well over the last year there is one thing that is for certain and that is he has a lot of fascinating stories to tell. Mark Ward is just one of those people whose life is one big story and I cannot wait to hear more about him and his hard hitting opinions. Dave Walker the host of the West Ham Way Radio show will be posing the questions to Wardy, the two of them are good friends so there is bound to be a lot of banter. I will also be around to give more insight to the transfer window, then I can perhaps share online to anyone who is interested. It should be a great event!
Here is one of his most famous goals for the club:
The event will take place on the 23rd September at the East Ham working man’s club from 8:30am-11:30 am. We are offering this event at a bargain £25 and this event is guaranteed to be a top do. We have unlimited beer, cider, wine and soft drinks where you are certain to be served straight away. You will not get this anywhere else!!
We have received nothing but positive feedback from all of our events. Here is what supports said at the John Moncur event:
We have secured a number of top prizes for the raffle too and these are worth coming for in themselves.
Coaches to the London Stadium are also included and drop you much closer to the ground than you can get when travelling by train.
We have a documentary company coming to the event from America who are filming exclusive footage and interviews in the event to appear in the USA about the history of our great club, so this is your chance to be involved.
The West Ham family feel and atmosphere is something that is no replicated in soulless Stratford. If you have not attended an event before we think you will be pleasantly surprised and keep coming back. Give it a try!! If you do not believe us just look at this spontaneous bubbles that erupted at our last event. https://twitter.com/ExWHUemployee/status/831243898865459201
