Well that was disappointing.  New manager but same result and same poor performance from a string of first team players  who seem to be trying their best to get themselves out of the club. I was concerned at how we managed to make Watford look like Barcelona at times during the game.  On the plus side we did manage to create a few goal scoring chances, with a bit more composure we might have got something out of it.

Moyes does not have a lot of time to sort things out as we are back in action tonight against former champions Leicester City.  and while those glory days now seem long gone as they struggled at the beginning of the season although they managed a couple of back to back wins recently which has seen them climb up to 12th in the table.  Hopefully tonight will be the first of our own back to back wins in the league.

Still stuck in the relegation zone 18th West Ham have the chance to climb out tonight and put some pressure on the teams playing tomorrow.   Setting ourselves up for a cracking battle in our next game away to Everton.  wins that will be priceless in getting through a really tough run of fixtures in December.

West Ham will have been boosted by the return to training of Michail Antonio and Andre Ayew, although it may still be too early for Antonio to return to the squad.  Hernandez, Fonte and Collins continue to be on the treatment table.

Claude Puel´s team are still missing Robert Huth at the back and Matty James misses out as well.

We don’t have a good recent record against Leicester City recently with our last win against them being way back in 2014 when we won 2-0 with goals from Carroll and Downing.  Hopefully the big man is up for another goal tonight.

Predicted teams :

West Ham United : Hart, Zabaleta, Cresswell, Reid, Ogbonna, Obiang, Kouyate, Lanzini, Arnautovic, Masuaku, Carroll.

Leicester City : Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Mahrez, Ndidi, Iborra, Gray, Okazaki, and Vardy.

I´m not expecting a great change in the line up tonight with a few people still to come back into the team.  But I expect him to be a bit more adventurous in attack as we are playing at home.  I think there are some players that owe us a performance tonight and I think we will be better than we were against Watford and nick the game with a late goal coming from Ayew.

I don´t want to go into the whole board in or out thing as its becoming very boring now.  But I would like to see the supporters showing just why we are the best in the world and get right behind the team at kick off and show the players just what a special club we really are.  One that they should be proud  to represent on the pitch.
