Well a point against Leicester wasn´t what we wanted, but I did see a team show a bit of fight and hunger to win.  Where that has been much of the season I don´t know, but I want to see more of it, then I´m sure we will be fine this year.   I have no doubt that we are in a relegation battle and 3 points tonight will make sure that Everton are more worried about going down than we are.

Fortunately for us Everton are having as bad a time of it than we are, although they have a couple of points more than us.  but losing  at the weekend 4-1 to Southampton shows the problems facing them at the moment.  They are currently on a run of 1 win in 6 games, manager less and with the prospect of Big Sam Allardyce taking over.  I don´t envy them.

West Ham on the other hand last won a league game of football…..erm you will have to go back a while for that 30th September to be exact we played Swansea and managed to win 1-0 since then a few draws and a cup win against Tottenham is all we have to shout about.  We have shown glimpses of being a good team we just need to put in a 90 min performance tonight and 3 point are vital with our tough run of fixtures this month.

Everton have injury concerns to Leighton Baines, Michael Keane  who both left the field last time out join Ross Barkley and James McCarthy on the injury list.  Niasse will complete his 2 match suspension But Tom Davies returns to the squad after completing his.  Mason Holgate will have a late fitness test ahead of the game.

Bad news for the Hammers is that James Collins had a set back in his return from injury It still might be too early to see Hernandez or Antonio back and Fonte will miss most of the month.  But with some big games coming up It might be best to use caution and make sure they are ready to return fully.

Predicted Line ups :

Everton : Pickford, Kenny, Williams, Jagielka, Martina, Schneiderlin, Gueye,  Davies, Sigurdsson, Rooney Calvert – Lewin

West Ham United : Hart, Zabaleta, Cresswell, Reid, Ogbonna, Kouyate, Obiang, Lanzini, Masuaku, Ayew and Arnautovic

I can not stress how vital 3 points are tonight I don´t care about playing away from home and respecting the point etc.  I want to see us go out and win the game.  They are there for the taking and we should not be afraid and I hope we don´t leave it so late before we make changes if needed.  I think we will get and early goal and then Everton will drop their heads and make it easy for us.  The pressure of playing at home will be too much for them and we will win the game easily 0-3 with Carroll getting his first goal in a while and a couple of goals from Ayew as well.
