We were delighted to have West Ham legend Alvin Martin on our podcast yesterday. He told many fascinating stories from his time as a West Ham player. We discussed important games in his career including the 1980 cup final, his debuts and England matches. Difficult questions were tackled over his all time 11 that he played with, were the 86 or 80 team the better side and who would he let take the penalties in his all time team-Julian Dicks or Ray Stewart.
We also talked about the current West Ham side and got Alvin’s opinions on the new managerial appointment and we asked whether he would have kept James Collins on as a player.
