It doesn’t get much bigger for West Ham than a trip to North London to play Tottenham.  This time they are playing in a brand new stadium.  West Ham managed to be the first team to win at the other Stadium in North London. So it’s only right that we do it again and be the first team to take all 3 points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as well.

After another encouraging display against Leicester City where the officials seem to have let us down again we should go all out for a win.  I think 3 points tomorrow and the season can finish on a high, but losing will see it turn into an average season at best.  Lots of work for the board and manager during the off season.

Tottenham have had some mixed results recently, beating City in the Champions League but losing in the league game. This has left them just 4 points clear of London rivals Arsenal and 3 in from of Chelsea.  They have a long way to go before they are sure to be in the top 4 this year.   Making sure they don’t will please me no end.

While recent performances have not given us the results we may have deserved recently, it’s safe to say that only the 1 win in the last 6 games is not great.  Hopes of 7th seem a long time ago now, we are 11th now but could quite easily finish below Burnley in 15th before the season is over.

Tottenham actually have a few injuries going into the game with Aurier, Lamela, Sissoko, Winks and of course Captain Harry Kane all miss the game. while missing for West Ham are Reid, Yarmolenko, and Carroll.  Good news is that Sanchez is due back soon as is Nasri. Jack Wilshire should also be available after making a return in the previous game.

Predicted Line ups:

Tottenham : Lloris, Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Vertonghan, Davies, Wanyama, Dier, Alli, Lucas, Son and Llorente.

West Ham United : Fabianski, Frederiks, Diop, Balbuena, Masuaku, Noble, Snodgrass, Rice, Antonio, Anderson and Arnautovic.

The one thing we know about this game is that form goes out the window and pretty much anything can happen.  I expect them to try to go at us from the start, as we have been slow out the traps in previous games.  I really do think we can nick a goal and win.  Although a lot of this will depend as always on how Arnie performs.  If he plays to the best of his ability and the way we know he can I can see us getting the win by the odd goal.  I hope the players realise how important this game means to the supporters and with Noble in the team I’m sure they will.
