Deportivo Hammer

Well last week didn’t quite go according to the plan, we were not really on the same level as Manchester City who in the 2nd half really put us to the sword. While in the 1st half I did feel we competed to a certain extent we never really put their keeper in any trouble.

It’s never nice to lose at home and conceding 5 is certainly a kick in the teeth. But we have to put that behind us now and concentrate on taking the 3 points on offer at Brighton.

Brighton pulled off what was arguably the biggest surprise of the first weekend of action with a 0-3 win away to Watford. New manager Graham Potter would have been very happy especially with the news that they carry no new injuries into tomorrows game. Izquierdo, Schelotto and Bissouma remain injured for the moment.

The same can not be said for Pellegrini and West Ham United. dead legs have managed to keep out record signing Seb Haller and playmaker Felipe Anderson from tomorrows game so its up to the rest of them. But its still to early to see the return of Captain Noble sadly.

Lots of people have said that tomorrow is a must win game, last weeks result might have got some people worried. I’m not and as soon as we get our game going we will be fine. I just hope that the injured players come back sooner, rather than later.

Predicted Teams :

Brighton & H.A : Ryan, Duffy, Dunk, Burn, Montoya, Stephens, Propper, March, Gross, Locadia and Murray.

West Ham United : Fabianski, Frederiks, Diop, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Rice, Wilshire, Snodgrass, Fornals, Lanzini and Hernandez.

I don’t think that the big talking point here is the 2 guys up top coming in, but more the change at Left Back. Masuaku replaces Cresswell which also gives us a decision to make in who becomes Captain. I think it may be Lanzini while everyone else might say Rice or Wilshire. I’m hoping the responsibility inspires Manu to turn it on and lead us to a comfortable 0-2 win with our goals coming from Chicha and Snodgrass.

Finally I would like to finish wishing Ex and co an enjoyable weekend out in Vegas. Spread the word guys. We really are a special club.
