With the International break now over we can get on with the more important football and that is West Ham United who travel up to Merseyside to play the Blue part of the City, Everton. They have been a bogey team for us in the past but Lukaku doesn’t play for them anymore which is a result.

Everton are on a very poor run of form the like that has not been seen since before the Moyes era. 18th in the league and having lost 4 in a row and 5 from the last 6 the vultures are circling at Goodison and Manager Marco Silva must know that the claws are out for him.

West Ham United on the other hand while not coming off a great result against Palace the performance was there and had we taken our chances we would have won. But it does seem very much a same old story regarding The Hammers. We get ourselves in a great position to really push on and we seem to fall at the last hurdle. But we have to remember it’s a marathon and not a sprint. So long as we continue to put in the effort then results will come.

8th in the league and just 2 points behind the teams in the champions league spots has us very much with our head in the clouds and long may it continue. It’s nice this year to not be looking at the bottom of the table.

Everton have a doubt over Fabian Delph who pulled out of the England team during the week and Gbamin and Tosun are out for the Toffee’s While West Ham are missing Cresswell (sore knee) and Yarmolenko (on the bench) who must be exhausted or have picked up a small knock after his exploits for Ukraine over the last fortnight. Michail Antonio and Fabianski are both out but it seems as if Declan Rice has recovered from the virus that bothered him whilst on England duty.

Predicted Teams :

Everton : Pickford, Sidibe, Keane, Mina, Digne, Gomes, Schneiderlin, Richarlison, Bernard, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin.

West Ham United : Roberto, Fredericks, Masuaku, Diop, Ogbonna, Rice, Noble, Fornals, Anderson, Lanzini and Haller.

Masuaku will come in for Cresswell and Fornals should return to the starting line-up in place of Yarmolenko.
But strangely enough I don’t feel like we are going to win this game but come away with a score draw and worthy point. 1-1 with us scoring first and Haller getting our goal. Would love to be wrong though and we get the 3 points instead.
