Anger, Anger was all I could feel as I walked home from the bar late Monday night. I finished work and rushed to the local Sports Bar to watch the 2nd half. I’ve seen West Ham lose many times but this game really felt different. I felt that once they got there first goal, heads just went down and the following 2 goals were a formality.

So after a week of people trying to figure out who we could replace Pellegrini with we take a trip to the South Coast to take on Southampton. Rumours of this being the last chance for Pellegrini to save his job are circulating and talks of assistant coach Enzo Maresca taking training are everywhere and he may even be a cheap option for the owners if necessary.

Southampton are 2 places and a single point from us and obviously will be hoping to leap frog us and put us into the Relegation zone. I would love to say that Southampton are in a poor run of form, but while they lost their last game they did win two in a row before that. How I would love us to win 2 in a row.

West Ham with just the 1 win in what seems like forever are basically in a lot of trouble, and forgive me if I sound pessimistic but I don’t see how we are going to get out of it.

Stuart Armstrong returns from injury for Southampton but Valery has an infection and Boufal has still got a stubbed toe.

Cresswell who limped off Monday night is straight back into the team but Fabianski is sadly still missing along with Wilshire and Lanzini. Anderson is also out with a small injury.

Predicted Teams.

Southampton : McCarthy, Bednarek, Stephens, Bertrand, Soares, Ward-Prowse, Hojbjerj, Redmond, Djenopo, Long and Ings

West Ham United : Martin, Cresswell, Fredericks, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Rice, Noble, Snodgrass, Fornals, Haller and Antonio.

Really angry doesn’t really begin to start how I feel about the club at the moment. There seems to be a real lack of energy and desire. The players seem low on confidence and to be honest so am I. I don’t like to think that we are going to lose but to be honest we are so bad at the moment pub teams would be putting 3 past us. I cant see anything but another defeat in which will probably be the end of Pellegrini in charge. 2-0 to to the home team.
