West Ham have upped the security measures at the London Stadium ahead of tomorrow’s EFL Cup tie against Chelsea. (Sky Sports)

Hull City have appointed Neil McDonald as assistant to head coach Mike Phelan. McDonald, 50, left his post as manager of Blackpool in May following their relegation from League One and has also been an assistant at West Ham and Blackburn under Sam Allardyce. (BBC Sport)

I shall be interested to see how SB uses Ayew when he returns.. I have never really thought about him as a striker ,although he did fill in for Swansea there with partial success. He seemed more affective as a wide midfield player who would drift in on the far post or to the centre where he did score a number of goals. The one thing we do know is that he can perform in the Premier league, so his return will be most welcome and will give us options. It may take him a little while to get match fit though..
