West Ham have given up on signing Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe. (Telegraph)
Its a shame to see us give up, but its understandable given the asking fee. We could still get him for free in the summer too should Sunderland go down, so it isn’t completely over.
Celtic have told West Ham they will have to pay £30m if they are to sign Moussa Dembele. (Mail)
This guy is really good, but £30m is a lot of money and I am not sure whether the board would want to pay that this month.
Dimitri Payet has told Slaven Bilic that he is happy at West Ham. (Express)
This is good to hear. Most of the fans attention has been on the possible in comings this month, but it is a massive boost to hear that our best player is happy with us.
Michail Antonio says there could be alot of goals in tonights FA Cup tie against Manchester City. (WHUFC)
I am looking forward to the game tonight and I am feeling confident about a result. I hope Michail is right and there are plenty of goals to enjoy.
Brentford striker Scott Hogan is eager to move to West Ham this month. (HITC)
If we can’t get Defoe, get Hogan. Its as easy as that for me. This guy is really good and we have pulled out some gems from the Championship before, and he could well be another star for us.
Also, Brentford manager Dean Smith says it will be hard to stand in Hogan’s way if he wants to move. (HITC)
If the manager says its hard to keep him, go and get him West Ham. Get it done quickly too.
West Ham are eyeing a move for Tottenham right back Keiran Trippier. (Express)
A very good right back, he really impressed me last week against Watford with his speed and his delivery into Harry Kane. The only stumbling block would be Daniel Levy as he is so awkward to deal with.
