Hello Hammers, its been a while. Here is today’s lunchtime round up.

West Ham are closing in on the signing of Senegalese midfielder Babou N’Diaye. (Mirror)

I have not heard of this guy, probably just like many others. However, I will not complain if we do sign him. He deserves a chance to prove himself if he joins, as does every new signing. Our supporters must give him the backing that he needs in order to settle properly.

Algerian winger Sofiane Feghouli is expected to complete a transfer to Galatasaray in the next couple of days. (Football London)

I am quite sad about this transfer, as I really like Feghouli. I thought he was good for us in patches last season, chipping in with a few goals and grabbing a few assists. I believe that he deserves another season with us to show his quality again, but sadly this looks unlikely. If he does leave, I wish him all the best.

West Ham have agreed a deal to sign Ajax youngster Anouar El Mhassani. (Squawka)

Another promising youth player on the books, which is always a good thing. However, whether he gets a chance to prove himself or not is another matter.

West Ham’s pursuit of Burnley striker Andre Gray shows that the Hammers are getting smarter in the transfer market. (Evening Standard)

I think Andre Gray would be a brilliant buy for us. I know he isn’t the big name that we all want, but he is still an improvement on what we have currently. Gray scored nine league goals for Burnley last season, and that is the same amount of our strikers combined. It has been said that he will be brought in as a back up striker too, and I think that would be excellent business.

Crystal Palace are set to beat West Ham, Newcastle and Brighton to the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. (West London Sport)

Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez reportedly wants £140,000 a week, if he is to join West Ham this summer. (HITC)

This seems to be the story that is getting fans excited. I believe that Javier Hernandez would be an unbelievable signing for us. He has a release clause of £13million, which is nothing these days. I think that we should pay him £140,000 a week without question. He guarantees goals, which is something we have lacked recently. We need to do all we can to get him signed.
