Deano! Deano! Deano! Guess who is back?!

Author: . Published: at 10:00pm

Following the success of previous events where our guests have included: Phil Parkes, Frank McAvennie, Stuart Slater, Alvin Martin, Steve Lomas, John Moncur, Keith Robson, Matthew Etherington, Martin Allen, Mark Ward, David Cross, Danny Gabbidon, Jack Collison, Julian Dicks and our greatest ever right back Ray Stewart, we now welcome another club legend to the stage.

Our sixth guest of the year is forward, England International and FA Cup Final goalscorer, Dean Ashton.  Dean joined he club for a then record fee of £7m from Norwich City in 2006 and played until 2009 until his career was cruelly cut short by injury following a tackle from Shaun Wright-Phillips on England international duty.  Dean played 56 times for West Ham and scored 19 goals and surely would have gone onto to achieve a lot more for us had the injury not struck.  Despite restricted appearances he is still considered one of the best forwards to have played for the club.

Dave, the West Ham Way radio show and I will also be around to meet everyone and we will also have free copies of the Blowing Bubbles Fanzine to give away too.  It should be a great event!

If you are still unsure on what a bargain this is then watch here:

The event will take place on the 10th March at the East Ham working man’s club from 11:00am-2:00 pm. We are offering this event at a bargain £25 and this event is guaranteed to be a top do and be a sell out like the previous three events (as I write this article we have already sold 70 tickets).  We have unlimited beer, cider, wine and soft drinks where you are certain to be served much quicker than any bar in Stratford.  You will not get this anywhere else!!

We are aware that the much publicised march in protest of the board is going ahead on this day.  The event was arranged before the march was announced and after extensive research and asking of our previous guests we have decided that this should go ahead.  We respect and support the march but also believe that our events are an important part of preserving our history too and with Sky changing so many events for us this year we wanted to give the fans the chance to meet a Deano.

We have received nothing but positive feedback from all of our events. Here is another promotion video from our Danny Gabbidon, so you can see what a great event it is.

We have secured a number of top prizes for the raffle too and these are worth coming for in themselves.  There will also be a brilliant memorabilia stand.

Coaches to the London Stadium are also included and drop you much closer to the ground than you can get when travelling by train and by the Carpenters pub.  As usual former “Boys of 86” player Mark Ward will host the event with his usual Scouse wit and passion.

Make sure you don’t miss out and get your tickets here today:

We also have an exciting opportunity if you wish to sponsor the event. PitchDMM are the first company to take up this brilliant advertising package and it has massively boost their business.  These deals can be discussed by contacting ExWHUEmloyee through twitter, or Dave Walker too.  We also have an email where you can register your interest.
